Neuromuscular Dentistry

Neuromuscular dentistry is a detailed and scientific way of restoring teeth to their optimal bite. When your bite is uncomfortable or out of proper alignment, the muscles surrounding the jaw have to work harder.

In turn, the body compensates by making the muscles in the face, neck and shoulders work harder resulting in migraines, vertigo, ringing in your ears, headaches, neck, shoulder and back pain.

(TMD) / TMJ, also known as temporomandibular joint dysfunction affects those who have a structural imbalance in the jaw to skull relationship caused by a bad bite and can suffer from even worse symptoms: unexplained chipped, cracked, loose, sensitive or worn teeth, headaches or migraines, pain or soreness around jaw joints, pain in teeth that seems to move around, neck, shoulder or back pain, facial pain, clicking or grating sounds in the jaw joints, limited movement or locking jaw, numbness in fingers or arms, congestion or stuffiness of the ears.
